BIO

OTHO SOUL is Eresseie (vocals) Frank (guitar) Mark (bass) and Pete (drums). Four musicians who, like everyone else, have been put through the musical ringer of success, failure, stage, studio,
let downs and friendship. The easiest way to move forward from the past implosions all bands experience is to first find good people to work with. Talent comes second. Luckily both were equally found in all to complete this project.

OTHO SOUL's foundation was laid with the drums, lyrics and melodies written by Pete Colvin. Once satisfied with his work,  Pete reached out for a favor from past band member and guitarist, Frank Brooks. Frank came in and added his no less than genius guitars to complete the music that is known as New Jersey's OTHO SOUL.

What was to be a side project recording, took root and grew to a highly acclaimed musical offering that drew the attention of media outlets both in the US and overseas.  So after an almost 8 month collaboration , Frank and Pete decided to make a few calls. The call's remained unanswered and an online search began. After a successful search, OTHO SOUL found their voice and Eresseie entered with her powerhouse and soulful vocals and they were 3/4 complete. The final step was to to bring in the solid and driving stylings of  Mark Ramsey (bass) to solidify the OTHO SOUL lineup.

Described as "lyrically and musically firing on all cylinders" by PJ (Bootleg Metal), their Push EP includes a voice from the abused that has finally had enough in the title track PUSH  In addition, the maddening, unfortunate true story of betrayal and theft in STRYCHNINE BLOOD and ALL THE REASONS, a song about the view from Sienna's eyes (presumed at least) in the final fight in Terrifier 2, wrap up this introductory offering. OS and the Push EP will stand among today’s best with it’s can’t miss infectious rhythms, catchy hooks and intelligent song writing. Hands down, one to be reckoned with.
